This is a working/ functioning black powder cannon/rifle 1/6th scale of a 100 pounder Parrott Rifle Coastal Defense Gun used by The Union. Made June 3 2003 with a small metal plaque engraved with Model information on the wooden base. Serial number 002. Mounted on a functional wooden display base. Fully adjustable/functioning blued barrel and carriage with wheels. The whole Model is 15″ from the floor and 28.25″ long. The cannon is 12″ tall from the wooden base. The base is 70″ around. Many original style proofs throughout including a naval Anchor on the top of barrel. Full adjustable and able to fire. The bore is rifled.
