A very fine hunting rifle with obvious high craftsmanship. Semi octagonal barrel transitions to a round barrel with solid rib on top. Double set trigger is excellent, smooth and perfect.Beautifully selected wood with red toned finish transitions to a Schnabel type forend common on German hunting rifles. Includes original German scope with clear glass and German type reticle. Caliber is unknown, our guess is 9x57mm Mauser
Excellent antique condition. Bluing is >80%, Wood has only some minor handling and storage marks. Scope is clear. Mechanically excellent. Buttpad was replaced and in excellent condition
