This example with serial number 9168 features a 30″ round barrel engraved at muzzle with Ballard globe front sight, Rigby flats with the top flat bearing the Ballard banner wrapped around an arrow, scroll engraved receiver with elk on left and buffalo on right, loop loading lever, knurled single trigger, vernier tang sight, checkered and figured walnut furniture with horn-inlaid pistol grip, cheekpiece, horn schnabel forend tip with extended widow’s peak and high-comb stock with nickel-plated brass Shuetzen butt plate. Antique and ships direct to buyer. Condition: Overall in FINE Plus showing off a great deal of original finish and case coloring. There is some scattered and light corrosion and marks on the furniture from handling and use. The wood appears to be solid and there are some small chips in the bone accents.
