Description JM stamped Marlin 336SC chambered in .35 Remington with a tubular magazine and a 20″ barrel. Manufactured in 1953 with serial number K34691. Blued barrel, magazine tube, receiver, hammer, lever, and trigger. The receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with a Lyman Alaskan 2 1/2x scope on a Griffin and Howe mount. Adjustable rear and hooded front blade iron sights. Smooth wood forend and pistol grip stock with checkered Marlin butt plate. The butt plate appears to have been replaced as it does not fit flush. Mounted leather sling. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with light scratches and cosmetic handling wear. Light internal wear from normal operation. Some spots/speckling of metal oxidation on the barrel, iron sights, and scope. Some spots of metal oxidation on the butt plate screws. Light scratches and wear on the wood.
