Description JM stamped Marlin 336 chambered in .30-30 with a six round tube magazine and a 20″ round barrel. Manufactured between 1961-1962 with serial number V29043. Blued barrel, magazine tube, barrel bands, frame, loading gate, hammer with extension, and lever. Gold plated trigger. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with a Marlin Micro-Power 4 power scope. Adjustable rear sight and fixed beaded front blade. Checkered wood forend and stock. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: FAIR/GOOD with general scratches and a wear from handling/operation. Heavy spots of metal oxidation on the barrel, lever, and tang. General small spots of metal oxidation on the receiver, magazine tube, and other small parts. Forend looks to have been sanded to fit the rifle, and there is a crack on the underside past the barrel band. Various minor dents and marks in the wood from handling/storage. Bright bore with strong rifling but has some heavy spots of metal oxidation.
