Description Russian Izhevsk M91/59 Mosin Nagant chambered in 7.62x54r with a five round internal magazine and a 20 1/4″. Manufactured in 1943 and imported by Century Arms C.A.I., marked on the barrel. This carbine was born as a full size M91/30 rifle and was cutdown and converted to a carbine. Marked M91/59 on the barrel shank and the range marking over 1000 have been ground off on the sight. Blued barrel, barrel bands, cleaning rod, receiver, magazine, and trigger. Unfinished bolt with twist knob bolt safety. Long adjustable rear sight and adjustable front blade. Smooth wood top forend and straight stock with blued metal butt plate. Serial number matching shank, bolt, magazine, butt plate, and stock, PS4410. The numbers on the receiver are matching but with a different Cyrillic prefix. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with light scratches and handling wear on the finish. Some spots of finish loss on the moving parts and contact points. Some spots of metal oxidation. Scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
