Description Russian Izhevsk M44 Mosin Nagant Carbine chambered in 7.62x54r with a five round internal magazine and a 20 1/4″ barrel with folding spiked bayonet. Manufactured in 1946 and imported by Century Arms, marked on the right side of the barrel. Blued barrel, cleaning rod, bayonet, receiver, magazine, and trigger. Adjustable rear leaf sight and adjustable front sight post. Unfinished bolt with twist knob bolt safety. Smooth wood top forend and straight stock with blued metal butt plate. Front and rear sling slots with mounted canvas sling. Serial number matching barrel shank, receiver, bolt, magazine, and butt plate. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with scratches and general finish wear from handling/operation. Some spots of metal oxidation. Some light scratches and dings in the wood. The wood has been sanded and refinished at some point. Very bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
