Description Russian Izhevsk M44 Mosin Nagant chambered in 7.62x54r with a five round internal magazine and a 20 1/4″ barrel with muzzle break. Manufactured in 1944 and imported by Century Arms C.A.I., marked on the barrel. Blued barrel, folding bayonet, cleaning rod, bands, receiver, magazine, and trigger. Unfinished bolt with twist knob bolt safety. Adjustable rear leaf sight and adjustable front post. Smooth wood forend sand straight stock with splice and metal butt plate. Front and rear sling slots with mounted fabric sling. Serial number matching shank, bolt, magazine, and butt plate. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with general light scratches and finish wear from handling/operation. Some light spots of metal oxidation/patina. Scratches and dings in the wood. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point. Clean bore with strong rifling.
