Classic com bloc rifle with what appears to be all (barrel, bolt, receiver, scope, scope mount, base plate, etc.) number matching rifle. Hooded pin front sight and flat tangent rear sights on the CAI marked barrel, with the 1943 date and Izhevsk arsenal stamp on top of the chamber, and the “PU” style scope base on the left side of the importer numbered receiver. scope mount hand-numbered to the gun and on the scope. Smooth straight grip stock with a green canvas sling and a steel buttplate. Canvas scope cover included but no bayonet. Original serial number (translated from cyrillic): GK4942.
Good condition, seen some action with the numerous marks and wear on the stock. Bluing is great with no rust. Bore and rifling are excellent. Bolt and bolt head are spotless. No obvious repairs. All markings, stamps, and proofs are crisp and prominent
