Description World War Two Inland M1A1 Paratrooper Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine with a 18″ General Motors barrel with M3 flash hider marked “HIDER,FLASH,M3.U.”. Both the barrel and receiver are dated 1944 with the barrel being marked “5-44” and serial number 5198216. Parkerized barrel with “SA” stamped type 3 barrel band with bayonet lug. Parkerized operating rod, receiver, flat top bolt, trigger, and trigger guard. Rotary safety and push button magazine release. Protected front blade sight and adjustable rear sight stamped “H.I.”. Four rivet wood handguard. Low wood paratrooper folding wire stock stock with wood pistol grip, leather cheek rest, metal butt plate. The rivets are marked “7/4”. The butt plate is marked with sunburst in circle logo and illegible numbers. Front and rear sling swivels with mounted horseshoe tab sling. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished and is missing the proof marks. This stock appears to either be refurbished or reproduction with some surplus parts. The rifle itself has the correct manufacturers and the serial number falls within the range of the second run of M1A1’s. NO magazine included. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, sharp edge wear, contact marks, and normal handling/operational wear. Spots of metal oxidation. Finish patina/discoloration.
