Description Swedish Husqvarna Model 1938 chambered in 6.5x55mm with a five round capacity and a 24″ barrel with mounted flash hider. Imported by SAMCO, marked on the barrel. Front cleaning rod and bayonet lug. Blued receiver, magazine floor plate, and trigger. Unfinished bolt with flag style safety. The bolt appears to have been bent further, to allow scope clearance. Adjustable rear rear ladder sight and fixed front blade. The receiver is drilled and tapped and mounted with a 3-9x40WA Simmons scope on Weaver rings. The rear sight has been removed and the top forend was shaved down to allow the scope. Smooth wood top forend and straight grip stock with stock disk/plaque and metal butt plate. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good having been Sporterized. Scratches, sharp edge wear, and cosmetic handling wear. Spots of metal oxidation, finish thinning, and patina. The stock has been sanded and refinished at some points. Scratches and dings on the wood. Bright bore with some light spots of metal oxidation, strong visible rifling.
