Description Harrington and Richardson M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a five round capacity and a 24″ H&R barrel dated to 1954 (“HRA D653544B 5-54 RS32”). Parkerized finish with a smooth wood National Match stock and forend. Fixed bayonet lug. Forward, center, and rear sling swivels. H&R bolt marked “6528287 HRA U”. Parkerized operating rod. Adjustable front sight post and rear peep sight. H&R receiver dated to 1954 with serial number 4761608. Parkerized fire control group. Non Import Marked. Checkered metal butt plate with trap door (empty). Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, scuffs, and finish wear. The parkerized finish has patinated to a dark greenish color from oil/age. A touch of metal oxidation on the barrel. The wood has varying scratches, scuffs, dings, and light gouges. Larger gouge on the right side of the stock near the receiver. Does not appear to have any damage/imperfections that ruin the integrity of the wood. The National Match cartouche and “P” proof mark are still crisp and visible. Clean bore with strong rifling. The tag that came on the rifle reads “Muzzle 1+ Throat 2+”.
