Description Wildey-owned High Standard M-101 The Plinker chambered in .22 long rifle with one, ten round magazine and a 4.5″ blued barrel. Blued steel frame with checkered black composite grips. Serrated trigger, push button magazine release, and push button safety. Blued serrated slide with loaded chamber indicator and fixed iron sights. Must ship to FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches and sharp edge wear from handling and operation. Spots of metal oxidation on the frame, slide, and barrel. The grips have some light scratches and wear, but the checkering is still strong. The magazine gets stuck when fully seated and needs extra force to take out. Clean rifled bore. Wildey worked in the firearms business since the 1950’s as a gunsmith, Ed Argamonte’s, as a Salesman for Winchester, Stoeger, J.J. Tobler and Forenade Fabrikverken. Eventually setting out on his own to design and create the Wildey Survivor. The Survivor was most famously featured in the classic 1985 Movie Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.
