English scroll engraving on side locks and fences. Nitro proofed and duly marked as such on the barrel flats and water table. Bluing is extremely strong and brilliant. Splinter forend and straight English stock made with nicely figured exotic walnut. Auto ejectors and double triggers. Non auto safety. A gold inlaid number “3” is present on the break lever, barrel and forearm . True side-lock gun resembles that of a Purdey design, Henry Atkin originally apprenticed with Purdey and then branched off to his own quality production.
