Description World War II Walther AC 42 Code P38 chambered in 9mm with two, eight round magazines and a 4.9″ barrel. Manufactured in 1942 with serial number 4.9″. Blued steel frame with lanyard loop and ribbed brown polymer grips. Serrated heel magazine release and slide stop. Double/single action trigger and hammer. Blued barrel and serrated slide with mounted de-cocker/safety lever. Rear U-notch sight and fixed front blade. Matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, and barrel. Waffenamt eagle over 359 stamp on the left side of the frame. Two Waffenamt eagle over 359 on the right side of the side with Third Reich Eagle in-between. One magazine is marked just “P38” the other is marked “P.38v U”. Comes with a Brown leather holster marked “joa1942” “P38″ and WaA706″ Waffenamt. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with light scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Normal wear on the operational parts from use. Some finish thinning on the contact points such as the front strap and trigger guard. Some small sots of pitting on the firing pin indicator/cover. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
