Description Mauser S/42 P08 Luger chambered in 9mm with one non matching magazine, and a 4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1937 with serial number 7111. Salt blued frame with stock lug, narrow trigger guard, and push button magazine release. Straw finished takedown lever, wide trigger, extractor, and serrated thumb safety marked “GESICHERT”. Checkered walnut grips. Salt blued barrel, chamber, and toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Front fixed “dorsal fin” blade and rear V notch iron sights. The top of the chamber is marked with the manufacture date of 1937. The top of the toggle is marked “S/42”. “Eagle 63” military acceptance mark is stamped on the left side of the barrel and twice on the right side of the receiver. 1936 to 1939 era Third Reich eagle test fire proof is stamped on the right side of the barrel, right side of the receiver, and left side of the toggle. The bottom of the barrel is marked “8,82”. All numbers appear to be matching aside from the grips and the magazine. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very Good The finish has some small scratches, and chatter/contact marks. Some spots of finish loss near the muzzle and on high edges. Some spots of patina on the finish particularly on the straw finish. Varying small spots of metal oxidation/pitting. The grips are in solid shape with some imperfections/patina.
