Description German Spandau Arsenal 71/84 chambered in 11mm with a eight round tubular magazine and a 31.6″ barrel. Dated to 1888, marked on the side of the receiver. Front stacking prong and bayonet lug. Blued barrel, bands, receiver, trigger, and trigger guard. Straight bolt handle and rear flag style safety. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood straight grip stock with full length forend and metal butt plate. Appears to be all serial number matching. The top of the barrel ring is marked with Crown over “SPANDAU”. Crown over “F.W.” mark on the left side of the barrel. The top of the butt plate is marked “11.R.E. 3.237.”. Other small proofs and cartouches. Antique ships directly to buyers home in MOST states. Condition: Antique good with finish thinning, patina, and metal oxidation throughout. Scratches, contact marks, and cosmetic handling wear. The stock appears to have been sanded and refinished at some point. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Some deep small gouges in the wood.
