German made P 38 in 9mm with two, eight round removable magazines and a 5″ barrel. Left side of slide mounted toggle safety switch. Left side frame de-cocking lever. Serrated composite grip plates. Smooth trigger and serrated hammer. Imported by “CAI” ( Century Arms International ) out of Vermont. Comes with a unbranded leather holster and two, eight round magazines. Magazines are marked with different symbols and letters. The first has a Waffenamt proof over “88” “3361” etched into it and “JVD” stamped. The second has a “C” a circle with “KK 10” etched “10869” and a eagle silhouette mark under the etched numbers. The pistol is marked with many Waffenamt stamps with matching serial numbers on visible parts and on the left side of frame a “BH” mark which is a Austrian Army marking. Marked on frame “Germany” “35” . Barrel marked “CAI ST. A. VT. 9MM PARA”. The leather holster is marked “1 GBA 53”. A numbered aluminum band is on the trigger guard, numbers are not the serial number “A16196, unknown origin or purpose. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder.

Condition: Good, Heavy finish wear on the edges, scuffs and scratches throughout. Slide looks reblued. Rifled bore has a very light grain to it.
