Description German Gew ( Gewehr ) 98 Turkish Mauser in 7.92×57 (8mm Mauser) with a three round capacity and a 29″ barrel. Made in Germany in 1918, sold to Turkey with Turkish/Ottoman Proof on receiver. Metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued trigger guard, trigger, receiver and barrel. Unfinished steel bolt with rear safety. Rear left side of receiver bolt release. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Stock has metal eyelet to take apart bolt. Mounted with a unbranded leather shoulder sling. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Poor with scratches, wood damage, spots of rust, finish wear/loss and a wood crack on the right side next to barrel shank. The rifled bore has light rust with strong visible rifling.
