Engraved by Master Engraver Mario Terzi, this Luigi Franchi SxS Montecarlo Imperiale is a fine specimen of Italian shotguns. Single white bead front sight affixed to a concave rib on beautifully blued 27″ barrels. Forend has the “Montecarlo Imperiale” Motif set in the middle of the diamond hand checkering. Polished metal push button at tip release and hardware. Forend begins the engraving at the hinge which leads into the exquisitely done side lock. 100% coverage of tight floral scroll through out. Brushed metal with polished accents give this shotgun a curb appeal like no other. “M. Terzi” signed on bottom by trigger. English stock is hand checkered and made of select exotic walnut, highly figured and finished in a pleasant semi gloss. Comb is neither thin nor thick, Butt is checkered wood. Condition: As New, Only minor storage impressions on wood surfaces. Gun does not appear to be fired outside of the manufacturer. Mechanically like new. Bores like new. Leather trunk shows significant wear from decades of storage.
