Description DWM 1923 Finnish Military Contract P08 Luger chambered in .30 Luger with two, eight round magazines and a 3 7/8″ (90mm) barrel. This is a Finnish military contract Luger that was manufactured after The Treaty of Versailles. During that time Germany was restricted on the barrel length and chambering of their arms. Which is why this Luger is chambered in .30 Luger with a shorter barrel. Blued frame with stock lug and checkered wood grips. Unfinished wide trigger with narrow trigger guard. Blued safety lever with “GESICHERT.” marking. Blued barrel and receiver. Blued toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Dorsal fin front blade and V-notch rear sight. The left side of the receiver is marked with Crown over N nitro proof and [SA] Finnish Army Acceptance Mark. N nitro proof marked on the breech block. DWM inscription marked on the top of the toggle. Many of the parts are mismatched or un-serialized, likely replaced overtime by the Finnish. Both of the magazines have tin bodies with wood bases. One is un-serialized and the other is serialized 3308″ Comes with a [SA] stamped leather holster. The rear of the holster is marked “BERLIN” Waa286 1938. Must ship to a FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very good with some scratches, high edge wear, and general handling wear. Spots of metal oxidation, finish patina, and finish thinning. Some scratches and edge wear on the grips.
