DESCRIPTION UPDATED. Presented is a FN D’Armes De Guerre Herstal Belgique model 1900. This was a John Browning patent licensed to FN and manufactured in Belgium for sales outside the United States. Within the U.S. this is more commonly referred to as the model 8. The model 1900 saw lackluster sales in Europe resulting in far fewer being produced as compared to the model 8. This example in .35 Remington. Marked left and right side breech “30” left side receiver “30”, Belgian Proof marks right side receiver, Trigger guard marked 30, right side magazine “30” underside magazine “37”. Condition: This rates Very Good with some scattered marks from handling. The bore looks good with strong rifling and just a hint of dark spots which may clean up. One screw on the tang looks to be a hex head replacement.
