Desirable 1st year production The chamber area is dated 1914 with the front toggle marked with the “Erfurt” logo. The right side of the barrel extension has the three Crown proofs next to the Imperial Eagle proof. The frame, left side of the barrel extension and underside of the barrel all have the same matching serial number with the last two digits stamped on the various smaller parts. It has the standard Gesichert marked on the safety. It is fitted with the correct 8 inch artillery length barrel with the standard front sight and the matching artillery Luger type tangent rear sight (not serial matching) marked 1-8. Both sights have the “fine tune” adjustments. It is complete with one matching WWI magazine with tin plated body, wooden base, and a single Crown proof. *C&R Eligible Condition: NRA Antique Good. Looks to have been reblued a while back. Straw color is faded except on rear sight that was taken from a different gun. grips are decent. Mechanically excellent
