Description Egyptian Contract Fabrique Nationale model 49 chambered in 7.92x57mm (8mm Mauser) with a ten round hinged integral magazine and a 23.2″ barrel. Barreled action missing the stock. Imported by Century Arms C.A.I., marked on the barrel. Blued barrel, bayonet lug, adjustable gas cylinder, receiver, bolt, dust cover, magazine and trigger. Tangent style adjustable rear sight and protected front blade sight. Trigger guard safety lever. Knurled charging handle and bolt carrier catch. Egyptian crown and Arabic marking on the receiver ring. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair mainly due to missing the stock and other small screws/parts. The trigger group appears to be improperly installed and missing the middle screw causing it to be jammed into the receiver and the bolt to be stuck. Cosmetically the rifle is good with spots of finish thinning and patina. General scratches and handling wear. The bore is bright with some frosting of metal oxidation, strong visible rifling.
