Made in New Haven Connecticut between the 1850’s and 1860’s with original serial number 15277. Originally in .36 caliber this was Arsenal converted to .38 Rimfire and re-serialized with number 97 on the frame behind grips, cylinder and underside of barrel. Underside of grip plates, underside of barrel marked with original serial number: 15277. Ramrod underside is marked 15277 G. Smooth wood grip plates. Silver finished brass trigger guard and backstrap. Finish worn trigger, frame, cylinder and barrel. Rear notch and front fixed post sight. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers homes. Condition: Antique, Very Good with scratches, finish wear/loss, front sight post modified, left side grip plate has a crack and repair. The rifled bore has spots of pitting and rust.
