Description DWM ( Deutsche Waffen-Und Munitionsfabriken ) P08 Luger Police Issue Rework chambered in 9mm with two matching eight round removable magazines. Manufactured in Germany in 1921. Checkered wood grip plates. Blued frame with stock lug, trigger guard, and push button knurled magazine release. Straw finished takedown lever, wide trigger, extractor, and serrated thumb safety marked “GESICHERT”. Front fixed “dorsal fin” blade and rear V-notch iron sights. The front strap has two German Police Unit Stamps-The first is scrubbed out and can still be seen slightly and reflects Shutzpolizei Berlin South Police District marks. The second proof reflects the Schutztruppe Colonial Protection Force in South West Africa. The top of the bore is marked with the manufacture date of 1921. The top of the toggle is marked “DWM”. Right side of frame German acceptance proofs. Serial numbers matching on the bottom of both magazines, frame, underside of barrel, top of toggle, take-down lever, left underside of grip plate has matching serial digits written in pencil, safety flag and firing pin. Comes with Leather holster, Luger tool and extra magazine. Waffenamt proof on the takedown tool. The holster is stamped on the rear KARL BOCKER 1940 WALDBROL and Waffenamt “WaA195”. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with scratches, spots of finish wear/loss, and spots of light rust. Clean rifled bore.
