Description DWM 1914 Military P08 Luger chambered in 9mm with one, eight round magazine with wood base plate, and a 4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1916 with serial number 3266O. Imported by Century Arms, marked on the bottom of the barrel. Rust blued frame with stock lug, narrow trigger guard, and push button magazine release. Straw finished takedown lever, wide trigger, extractor, and serrated thumb safety marked “GESICHERT”. Matching checkered walnut grips. Rust blued barrel, chamber, and toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Front fixed “dorsal fin” blade and rear V-notch iron sights. The top of the bore is marked with the manufacture date of 1916. The top of the toggle is marked “DWM”. The barrel, toggle, and receiver are marked with German military proof marks. DWM acceptance mark is on the right side of the receiver. The bottom of the barrel is marked with “8,82”. All parts appear to be matching aside from the magazine. The magazine has a tin body with a wood base plate, may have been matching but the base plate has been sanded. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair with scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Spots of metal oxidation and finish patina. Finish thinning around the muzzle and on the contact points such as the front and backstrap .Most of the straw finished is in the white. Scratches in the grips with mostly worn but visible checkering. The bore has visible but worn rifling with spots of pitting throughout.
