Description Mauser K98 in 8mm Mauser manufactured in German-occupied Czechoslovakia by Waffenwerke Bruenn in 1944. Blued 24″ barrel, receiver, bolt, barrel bands, and trigger. Smooth metal butt plate and wood stock. Matching serial number on receiver, barrel, butt plate, bolt assembly, and magazine plate assembly. Front barrel band not matching. Left side of receiver marked with a covered up Eagle, serial number 18526 over “a” Top of receiver marked “dot” and “1944” with a faded Waffenamt. Right side marked “CAL 8mm – TURKEY” with WaA63. Bottom of magazine plate marked “WaA655″ with number 6388 crossed out and the actual serial number underneath. Right side back of barrel import marked thats faded. Left side serialized with covered up Eagle proof. Comes with leather shoulder sling and mismatching blued bayonet and scabbard. Must ship to C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good being refinished at some point. The stock has been sanded. Front barrel band has large welding marks on the bottom side. Some minor pitting and scratching is under the blue.
