Description Romanian Cugir M56 SKS chambered in 7.62x39mm with a ten round integral magazine and a 20″ barrel. Manufactured in 1957 and imported by Century Arms C.A.I., marked on the barrel. Blued gas tube and barrel with folding bayonet and cleaning rod. Blued receiver, dust cover, magazine, trigger guard, and trigger. Unfinished bolt with knurled charging handle. Adjustable rear leaf sight and adjustable protected front post. Trigger guard safety lever. Smooth wood top forend and wood stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling mounts. Matching receiver, bolt, magazine, trigger guard, dust cover, stock, and the butt plate is possibly matching with the serial numbers scribed on the back. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with some scratches, edge wear, and general cosmetic from handling. Light scratches and small dings on the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling.
