Description Colt Single Action Army Sam Colt Sesquicentennial chambered in .45 Long Colt with a six-shot cylinder and a 7.5″ barrel. This revolver was made to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the birth of Samuel Colt, and is 1 of 5000 made with serial number 343SC. Blued front sight, barrel, frame, hammer, and trigger. Nickel plated ejector assembly, engraved cylinder, grip straps, and screws. Smooth walnut grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions. Fixed front blade sight. The left side of the barrel is marked “1814 – COL. SAM L COLT SESQUICENTENNIAL MODEL – 1964”. The engraved cylinder reads “COL SAM L COLT 1814-1964”. Comes in a walnut case with a silver plated plaque that reads “One of 5000 COLONEL SAM L COLT SESQUICENTENNIAL MODELS 1814-1964”. Case is lined with red velvet and includes a Sam Colt commemorative coin, twelve display cartridges, and a copy of “The Arms Collection of Colonel Colt” by R. L. Wilson. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with light handling wear and tiny touches of metal oxidation on the frame. Drag line on the cylinder. The silver plating has some patina to it from age and storage. The grips show little wear with some patina/oxidation on the Colt medallions. Very clean rifled bore.
