Description This lot is for two handguns, first is a Colt Police Positive revolver chambered in .38 Special with a six shot cylinder and a 4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1939 with serial number 629094. Checkered rubber Pachmayr grips. The bottom of the grip is marked “P.P.D No A-4”. Fixed front blade sight. The second is a Ruger MK II pistol chambered in .22 long rifle with one, ten round removable magazines and a 5.5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1939 with serial number 214-86035. Checkered polymer Ruger grips. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade painted red. The Ruger must ship to a FFL holder and the Colt can go to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair/Good, the Ruger’s barrel appears to not be original due to visible welding marks that have been painted over with what looks like permanent marker. The blued finish has become discolored and purple from heat. General scratches and spots of metal oxidation. Clean rifled bore. The Colt shows heavy metal oxidation, finish patina, and finish loss. The grips are not original and do not properly fit the grip fully. Bright bore with good visible rifling. The actions of both guns appear to function as expected.
