Manufactured and shipped as a single item to Harold Judd on July 19, 1922, with the features verified. Features the two-line address on top of the barrel, “NEW SERVICE 38 W.C.F.” on the left side, ad standard blade and frame notch sights. Very crisp and prominent Rampant Colt is stamped on the left side plate. Fitted with a set of checkered grips with inset silver Colt medallions. Serial on grips does not match but fit superbly like factory grips. Colt Archive letter is included confirming proper grips, barrel length, and the Special Feature of “Selected and Targeted”
Excellent! All original with possibly the grips having been swapped out at the factory. 96% or better bluing. Only a few high edges worn such as below the yoke, blade front sight has a couple of specks, turn line and cylinder stop stud wear on cylinder. Bore is excellent. Grips are excellent. Mechanical function is excellent
