Description Colt model 1849 percussion pocket revolver chambered in .31 caliber. With serial number 88908 and dating to 1854 this example features a 4″ barrel stamped “ADDRESS SAML COLT / NEW YORK CITY” with bead front and hammer integrated v-notch rear sight, stage coach scene engraved cylinder, brass trigger and grip straps and hardwood grip panels. All parts including the cylinder are numbers matching and the frame is marked “COLTS / PATENT”. Antique, No FFL required and ships direct to buyer. Condition: Very Good with numbers and lettering clearly visible. The stage coach scene on the cylinder is still quite sharp in detail. There is spots of corrosion around the normal areas of a percussion pistol being heavier on the nipples and front of cylinders. The bore still has some shine with very strong rifling.
