Description Colt U.S. Army Model of 1909 Double Action in .45 ACP with a six round capacity and a 5.5″ barrel. Made in Hartford Connecticut in 1911. Smooth wood grip plates with inspector proof RAC on the bottom of each. Blued trigger, frame, cylinder, hammer and barrel. Left side of frame knurled cylinder release. Bottom of pistol grip lanyard loop. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Matching serial number on the cylinder release, frame and reverse side of right grip plate written in pencil. Underside of barrel marked: “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” RAC. Right side of frame marked: R.A.C. and the top right marked: GHB. Cylinder face marked: RAC. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with light scratches, wood dings, light finish wear/loss and touches of rust. The rifled bore has spots of light rust and pitting.
