Description Colt Bisley model single action army revolver chambered in .38 WCF (Winchester Centerfire). With serial number 266156 and dating to 1905 this features a desirable 4-3/4″ marked “BISLEY MODEL 38 W.C.F.” on the side with top roll mark “COLTS PT FA MFG Co. / HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A.”. The frame is marked “PAT.SEPT.19.1871. / JULY 2.72JAN 19.75.” with a rampant Colt just to the right. The S/N is stamped on the frame, and trigger guard. Ships to FFL/C&R Only. Condition: Good with very little finish remaining. The cylinder is most likely a replacement. The grips rate better with no chips or cracks. The bore has visible rifling and is slightly frosted with scattered spots of light corrosion. The action functions as expected with a slight wiggle to the cylinder on lockup.
