Description Colt Army Model 1903 Double Action in .38 Long Colt with a six round capacity and a 6″ barrel. Smooth wood grip plates. Blued frame, trigger, checkered hammer, cylinder and barrel. Left side of frame checkered magazine release. Front and fixed blade sight. Bottom of pistol grip located lanyard loop. Left side of frame inspector marked: J.E.H. (Captain Jay E. Hoffer). Sub inspector marked: R.A.C. (Rinaldo A. Carr). Proofed on left side of frame with date 1904. R.A.C. marked pistol grip plates. R.A.C. marked cylinder face. Serial numbers matching on the frame, cylinder gate and cylinder release lever. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with scratches, finish wear and handling wear. Crack on the reverse side of the left grip plate, not all the way thru the plate and not visible without taking off the plate. Clean rifled bore.
