Description This lot is for two Colt 1878 Double Action Frontier Six Shooter revolvers. Colt 1878 Frontier Six Shooter in .44-40 Winchester Centerfire with a six round capacity and a 7.5″ and 4.75″ barrels. Checkered composite grip plates on one and aftermarket smooth wood on the other. Blued frame, trigger guard, trigger, hammer, cylinder and barrel. Bottom of grip located lanyard loops, missing on one. Right side of frame loading gate. Under barrel cylinder release pin and extractor rod, missing rod on one. Front fixed blade sights. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Poor with the 4.5″ barrel revolver not functioning, finish wear/loss, rust and missing parts. Both have spots of rust and pitting to the rifled bore. SOLD AS-IS.
