Description Colt 1861 Pocket Navy Factory Conversion in .38 Rimfire with a five round capacity and a 4.5″ barrel. Made originally in Hartford Connecticut in 1861 in .36 caliber then converted by the Colt factory to .38 rimfire between 1873-1880. Smooth wood grip plates. Nickel finished brass trigger guard and backstrap. Case colored trigger and knurled hammer. Nickel finished frame, cylinder and barrel. Right side of barrel ejector housing. Right side of frame loading gate. Rear hammer notch and front fixed metal bead sight. Numbers 3538 matching on this revolver including the frame, trigger guard, cylinder, bottom of backstrap and barrel. Serial number 3398 on loading gate. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique, Very Good with scratches, finish wear/loss and spots of rust.
