Description Adam’s Patent MK II Double Action Center Fire Breech Loading revolver chambered in .450 Adams with a six-shot cylinder and a 6″ octagonal barrel. One of the earliest models of double action revolvers. Serial number 1853. Mostly in the white/patinated blued finish with scroll engraving on most of the metal parts. Double action trigger and hammer. Checkered walnut grips. Fixed rear V-notch and front blade iron sights. The top of the barrel is marked “391 STRAND LONDON”. The right side of the frame is marked “Adam’s Patent 1853”. Comes in its factory wood case with blue lining and key . Antique ships directly to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique Fair/Good with most of the finish being in the white with spots of patina. Small spots of pitting throughout. Some scratches and wear on the grips/checkering. The deep scratch on the left side of the grip. Much of the markings are faded and difficult to read. The bore is very good given the age, it is bright with strong visible rifling. Does show some small scattered spots of pitting. Appears to function as expected, unknown if abled to be fired. Some cracks in the top of the wood case.
