Description Carl Gustafs Stads Model 1896 in 6.5x55mm with a five round internal magazine box capacity and a 29″ barrel. Made in Sweden. Imported by Samco out of Miami Florida. Metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued guard, smooth trigger, magazine floor plate, receiver and barrel. Rear bolt checkered safety switch. Rear left side of receiver bolt release. Flip up adjustable rear and front fixed blade sight. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Metal loops for mounting a shoulder sling. Right side of stock located sighting tool. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good/Very good, with scuffs, scratches, metal oxidation and finish wear/loss. The rifled bore has a very light grain to it with strong rifling.
