Description Swedish Carl Gustafs Stads model 96/38 chambered in 6.5x55mm with a five round internal magazine and a 24″ threaded barrel installed with blank firing adapter. Originally manufactured in 1899 as a model 1896 with a 29″ barrel and has been refurbished by the Swedish military into a model 1938 with a 24″ barrel. Imported by Century Arms, marked on the right side of the barrel. Front installed cleaning rod. Blued receiver, magazine floor plate, trigger, and trigger guard. Unfinished bolt with flag style safety. Adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood top forend and straight grip stock with stock disk and metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. Mismatched serialized parts. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, contact marks, and cosmetic handling wear. Normal wear on the internal/moving parts from operation. Some light spots of patina/metal oxidation. The butt plate is in the white. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the stock.
