Description Carl Gustaf Stads Model 1896 chambered in 6.5x55mm with a five round capacity and a 29″ barrel. Manufactured in 1902 and imported by Century Arms, marked on the front barrel. Finish worn metal butt plate. Smooth front forend and wood stock with disk. Blued trigger guard, trigger, receiver and barrel. Unfinished steel bolt. Rear bolt safety switch. Rear left side of receiver bolt release. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug and removable cleaning rod. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. All external serialized parts appear to be matching. Crown proofs on many of the metal parts. Mounted with a leather shoulder sling. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with scratches, wood dings, finish wear and spots of rust. The rifled bore has light rust with strong visible rifling.
