Description This lot is for two British swords. 1827 pattern British Navy presentation sword with a 29″ barrel, fish skin wrapped hand grip and brass Lion head pommel. Crown and Anchor etched blade. Made by Batten & Adams Outfitters Devonport, Proved. Leather and brass scabbard. This sword is named on the guard: W. Grey R.N. Comes with a leather and brass Navy belt buckle. 1845 pattern British Colonial Infantry sword with a 32.5″ blade, shark skin hand wrap and brass pommel. Blade is etches with a Crown and Cannon and Sword crossed. Hand guard wrapped with Portapee. Metal scabbard with carry rings. Condition: Good with light scratches, finish wear, metal dents and oxidation. The presentation swords brass scabbard accents are falling off.
