Number 1166 of only 1500 made with serial number KW1166. Blued barrel and frame/receiver. 24kt Gold plated muzzle, front sight, rear sight base, charging handle, trigger, and sling swivels. Smooth woof forend, pistol grip, and stock with blued metal butt plate. The right side of the receiver is marked “KOREAN WAR COMMEMORATIVE THOMPSON, LEAST WE FORGET, 25 JUNE 1950-27 JULY 1953, IN DEFENSE OF THE PRINCIPLES OF THE FREE WORLD”. Korean war commemorate medallions inlayed into the pistol grip and either side of the stock. Comes in its factory walnut display case with commemorative plaque. Must ship to a FFL holder.
