Japanese Arisaka Type 99 in 7.7mm with a five round internal magazine capacity and a 25″ barrel. Butt plate is missing and has been replaced by a fitted piece of wood typically seen on “Last Ditch” rifles. Stock has a large split in stock, which is commonly seen and done by the imperial army to prevent the stock from snapping under pressure. Receiver is in poor condition with heavy metal oxidation throughout. Barrel is in poor condition with heavy metal oxidation. Barrel bands are in poor condition with heavy wear and metal oxidation. Typical of an Arisaka, this rifle exhibits heavy wear in the wood fore grip and all around. The rifled bore has a light grain to it, otherwise very clean. Must ship to C&R or FFL/Dealer.
