Description Colt 1849 Pocket chambered in .31 Caliber with a five-shot cylinder and a 4″ octagonal barrel. Manufactured in 1873 with serial number 331461. Blued barrel, single action trigger, and hammer. In the white ram rod, cylinder, and frame. The cylinder shows very little of the original Stagecoach scenes, most of the markings on the cylinder are no longer visible including the serial. Blued ram rod. Brass trigger guard and grip frame. Smooth wood grips. Rear hammer notch and front bead iron sights. Serial number matching barrel, frame, trigger guard, and grip frame. The top of the barrel is marked “ADDRESS SAM L COLT NEW YORK CITY”. Antique, ships directly to buyers home in MOST states. Condition: Antique good with scratches, contact marks, and sharp edge wear. Some of the parts are mostly in the white. Spots of metal oxidation, patina, and some small/light pitting. Some tarnish on the brass. Light scratches and dings on the grips. The screw on the toe of the grip forward of the serial is missing. Some spotting of metal oxidation in the bore, with decently strong visible rifling given the age.
