Description Ankara Arsenal in Turkey rebuild in 1935 of a 1893 Mauser in 7.65x53mm originally then re-barreled into 7.92x57mm which is also called 8mm Mauser with a five round capacity and a 29″ barrel. Called a Turkish Mauser Model 1893/38 and import marked on the underside of front barrel by C.A.I. ST. ALB. VT. Finish worn metal butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Blued trigger guard, untextured trigger, receiver, bolt and barrel. Rear bolt safety switch. Left side of receiver bolt release. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug and removable cleaning rod. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Mounted with a leather shoulder sling. Metal eyelet in the stock for disassembling the bolt. Serial number is not matching on the bolt and receiver. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with light scratches, heavier wood dings and spots of rust.
