Description Post War Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a eight round en bloc clip fed internal magazine and a 24″ Springfield Armory barrel. Manufactured in 1955 with serial number 5837825. The barrel is also dated to 1955 and marked “SA 56535448 3 55 A219A P” and military acceptance proof. Parkerized finish with wood stock and top handguard. Mounted green fabric sling. The right side of the stock is stamped with Acceptance Proof and the pistol grip is marked with a circled “P” proof. The receiver underneath the stock is marked “4 7 A”, “F 6528291”. Springfield Armory operating rod marked “6535382 SA”. Springfield Armory bolt marked “6528287-SA A15”. SA trigger group marked “6528290-SA”. Adjustable rear sight and protected National Match marked front blade. Comes with a M1 bayonet and scabbard. Also comes with an M1 Garand Technical Manual. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with light scratches, scuffs, and cosmetic handling wear. Some spots of finish thinning. Light wear on the internal/moving parts from normal operation. Some scratches and dings in the wood. Bright and clean bore with strong visible rifling.
