Description U.S. Army Colt 1911A1 chambered in .45 ACP with one, seven round unmarked blued magazine and a 5″ Colt barrel. Manufactured in 1943 with serial number 827313. Imported by Century Arms, marked on the bottom of the trigger guard. Blued steel frame with lanyard loop and ribbed mainspring housing. Serrated thumb safety and hammer spur. Smooth grip safety. The right side of the frame is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY” No 827313″, “M 1911 A1 U S.ARMY”. The left side of the frame has a W.B. inspection proof. The left side of the trigger guard has an X over VP proof. The right side of the trigger guard is marked “73”. Checkered polymer grips. “P” Proof mark on the left side of the frame, right side of the barrel lug, and top of the slide forward of the rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked “COLT 45 AUTO”. Blued barrel and serrated slide. Fixed iron sights. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good as being completely refinished with bluing. Some spots of pitting under the new finish. Some spots of metal oxidation on the finish. Light scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Wear on the internal/moving parts from operation. Light scratches and wear on the grips. Spots of pitting throughout the bore. The rifling is a little worn but still visible.
