Description Russian Tula SVT 40 chambered in 7.62x54r with a 24.5″ barrel with a two port muzzle break, bayonet lug, and cleaning rod. Manufactured in 1943 with manufacture year and Tula star on the top of the receiver ring. There is an import serial on the rear of the receiver, and CDI import on the side of the receiver. The receiver ring also has a Russian refurbish mark. Reblued barrel, seven hole barrel shroud, receiver, plum bolt, trigger group, and metal butt plate. Refinished/Lacquered wood stock and top handguard. Paddle magazine release and trigger guard safety switch without hole. Rear adjustable leaf sight with groove and adjustable front sight post. Front and rear sling swivels. Matching receiver, bolt handle (scribed number) , Bolt (scribed number), stock, and trigger guard (scribed number) NO MAGAZINE INCLUDED. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with the finish and wood appearing to have been refinished/re-arsenal. The metal parts retain most of their bluing with light handling wear and patina, the bolt and bolt handle has a plum color that is common from being refinished. Metal oxidation on the butt plate. Some pitting and marks underneath the finish. The stock is in solid shape with varying scratches, scuffs, and dings. Bright bore with strong rifling, shows some spots of metal oxidation.
